Museum Update

For the past few weeks at the museum, our parking lot has been under construction. Unfortunately, that meant that we had few if any visitors. Nevertheless, the museum carried on with our work in creating new programming and researching/installing new exhibits. Many of them you can see now at at the MacArthur and Bold Centre buildings. 

Our summer student’s, Amy and Kali, tenure at the museum is coming to an end, a sad day for Lac La Biche Museum. Many of our satellite exhibits that I’m sure many of you have enjoyed over the past few months were created by the two of them. They are heading back off to university in the coming days, and we wish them nothing but the best. 

Over the past month or two, we’ve developed a new series of programming called Lac La Biche Explorers. These new programs are geared towards our younger audience and will be sure to be a fun way to spend an afternoon at the museum. Keep an eye on our social media for information as it comes out!

One last thing! As a heads up we’ve adjusted our hours for the Winter/Spring season. We’ll be open from Tuesday to Saturday now, instead of every day. Hope to see you soon!
