About the Lakeland Interpretive Society
The Lakeland Interpretive Society was established in 1995 and became a registered charity in 1999. Through a stewardship agreement with Lac La Biche County, the Lakeland Interpretive Society has been overseeing operations for the Lac La Biche Museum since 2014. The Society is dedicated to the development of a facility that will be the hub that provides interpretive, historical, and cultural programs to the Lac La Biche County and Lakeland Region.
The Society is comprised of volunteer members and run by the Board of Directors. If you would like to get involved with the society, feel free to contact us!
