About the Museum
The Lac La Biche Museum has been telling stories of our region since 2014. Through our exhibits and programs, we endeavor to preserve our history and educate the public.
About the Society
The Lakeland Interpretive Society was established in 1995 and became a registered charity in 1999. Through a stewardship agreement with Lac La Biche County, the Society operates the Museum. The Society is dedicated to the development of a facility that will be the hub that provides interpretive, historical, and cultural programs to the Lac La Biche County and Lakeland Region.
The Society is comprised of volunteer members and run by the Board of Directors:

- Darlene Beniuk – Director, Annual County Council Appointment
